pagerank vs Domain Authority, Domain Rating & Flow metrics

Every SEO suite sells a 0–100 authority score: Moz Domain Authority (DA), Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR), Majestic Trust Flow / Citation Flow. webrank's pagerank (0–10) measures the same underlying thing — link authority — with a different set of trade-offs: open data, open method, free API, and a popularity number next to it.

What to know before comparing scores

Scores aren't comparable across tools. DA 60 ≠ DR 60 ≠ pagerank 6. Each is a relative

scale over that tool's own link index. Compare rankings between domains within one tool, not absolute values across tools.

Multi-source beats single-crawler for robustness. webrank's authority blends three

independent link views (Common Crawl graph, Majestic's subnet-diversity view, Open PageRank), so a blind spot or spam pocket in one index doesn't set the score.

Subnet diversity is the anti-spam core. Links from many different /24 networks are
